Plastics Forever? Health Effects on People and Nature

Plastics have become part of nearly every aspect of modern life—but questions about their effects on human health and the natural environment are growing. Some are calling it the Plastics Pandemic.
NaCCRA presents a one-hour webinar featuring Suzette Munley, a plastic-pollution expert and National Community Engagement Director for Beyond Plastics. She will be joined by distinguished panelists including: an organizer from a community that has eliminated 75 percent of their single-use food service products (much of it containing plastics), a pediatrician, representing Physicians and Scientists Network Addressing Plastics (P-SNAP), Plastics Pollution Coalition (PPC) Senior Communications Manager, and a retired nurse. Together they will discuss their unique perspective and answer questions submitted by the audience.
