✨✨ In The Media

We're changing to weekly from daily updates.

Thanks, Richmond, for the weekly format for this forum and for creating and donating this service.

Perplexity is a fee-for-service, at about a dollar a minute. On a weekly basis, the searches, summaries, and posts to our forum will run about $2,000 a year. I'm donating the service for an indefinite trial period while we see if it is reliable and useful to people. From the responses on the forum so far, it looks like people like it.

Unfortunately, many members do not use the website and are annoyed when a forum puts out a lot of email as this one did until I switched the default to daily summary.

Thank you for the original idea to post and for your idea to combine and send on Thursdays.

I've been fine with rec'g news as it occurs; digest one item at a time.  Of course I understand that weekly will be easier to manage (don't know why it will save $$?), while I imagine urgent matters will be published as necessary.

Richmond - I’m finding that the news stories that you’ve programmed Perplexity to find for us about CCRCs are very worthwhile reading. Thanks, Richmond, for coming up with this brilliant use of an AI platform to give NaCCRA members more insights about relevant news stories. -Barry Peters

Thanks, it was overwhelming.

Great idea to do a weekly digest. Now I don’t have to read so many newsletters. Thanks Richard.

I love this.  Thank you.

To reduce mail frequency and save money, I'm changing the updates of this forum to weekly on Thursday morning. Details to follow.
